Client

Dr. Michael Shanhani, Conductor, City College Masterworks Chorale

Brief & Goal

Design promotional materials for the City College Masterworks Chorale's winter concert while adhering to creative guidelines. The design needed to avoid religious imagery, microphones, or instruments, and evoke an uplifting, and emotional tone.

  • Evoke warmth and wonder with winter imagery

  • Resonate with the City College community

  • Drive concert attendance through engaging visuals

My Solution

I designed a 3D snow globe poster, featuring a snowy forest, floating musical notes, and a sleid, to capture the concert’s uplifting, nostalgia-filled spirit while respecting the client’s no-instrument, no-religious imagery guidelines. Using a deep navy and warm gold palette with bold serif headlines and clean sans-serif text, I balanced elegance with readability. Subtle lighting effects and hand-drawn snowflakes added a magical touch. I then extended the campaign to social media with a looping snow-fall GIF and a vertical story template, each asset optimized for engagement and driving ticket sales.
